The FMJ-Bottom has been updated to work with the DSMC QR plate. The lens height won’t be proper but for those that wanted it… It’s here!

    Hi Brook!

I was inquiring with Curt about something like this a while back… What’s the height difference?
Maybe cantilevered side arms with just the top plate and Red’s QR plate will be the way to go… What are your thoughts on this?

ooh, or better yet, combine the two so that your FMJ bottom plate would fit right into Red’s QR Platform System.
      what do you think?

We attempted to model a FMJ-compatible version of the DSMC QR plate back before the Clutch shipped but unfortunately the math simply doesn’t work… it’s physically impossible.

I had a version of RED’s DSMC QR bottom plate [the RED part that is pictured] which had a growth on the front to attach our 15mm lightweight support bracket to it. We went so far as to prototype it before RED announced their own equivalent [the Modular Assault Plate] so we cancelled the product.

The cantilevered sidearms always have and still are the plan for people who want to use the DSMC QR baseplate.
